Western Regional Sales Manager

We are looking for an experienced, West Coast-based West/Mountain Regional Sales Manager to join our growing sales team who will be responsible for identifying, engaging, planning, and developing new accounts. A qualified candidate will also work in coordinating client relationship opportunities such as project proposals, budgets, service contracts, and work orders while enhancing current accounts and business opportunities within the West Coast market region.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Be the primary point of contact and build long-term relationships with customers
  • Identify new opportunities for our entrance control security products
  • Assists customer accounts through email, phone, online presentations, screen-share, and in-person meetings
  • Collaborate with internal departments to facilitate client need fulfillment
  • Meet and exceed financial goals
  • Forecast and track key account metrics
  • Continuous building of preferred status amongst integrators
  • Manage relationships with local architects and consulting firms
  • Travel as needed to stay top of mind within assigned territory
  • Understand and keep up to date with the security industry and competitive landscape
  • Serve as subject matter expert for entry control products offered by Smarter Security

Skills/Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience selling entrance control or other advanced security systems
  • Proven track record of success in a quota-driven sales environment
  • Strong channel partner relationships in California, Colorado, Washington and/or surrounding states
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, and HubSpot
