Smarter Security Brings Fastlane® Optical Turnstiles and Door Detective® to GSX 2026
From a phone tap at the lobby to tall glass with climb-over detection, Booth #1415 demonstrates optical turnstiles and entrance control that adapt to the building instead of the other way around.
Austin, TX – September 3, 2026 – Smarter Security, a leading provider of optical turnstiles and entrance control solutions and the exclusive distributor of Fastlane turnstiles and Door Detective throughout the Americas, will showcase its latest entrance control technology at GSX 2026, September 14–16 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta. Visitors can experience four Fastlane optical turnstile models and Door Detective Plus live at Booth #1415, including biometric facial authentication, mobile credentials, tall-glass security barriers, and advanced tailgate detection.
What changes from model to model is the fit: pedestal footprint, barrier height, lane width, finish and the credential it reads. What stays the same is the security underneath. Every model runs the same neural-network detection platform, with ¼-inch tailgate detection, throughput of up to 60 people per minute, and person-versus-object discrimination that keeps false alarms down. Live on the booth, lanes will authenticate by face through the Alcatraz AI Rock X and by phone through SwiftConnect, alongside standard card readers.

- Fastlane Glassgate 300: The architectural option. T-shaped pedestal with glass sides for open, design-led lobbies, with five barrier heights up to 70.9” and a locking brake option when the site calls for it.

- Door Detective® Plus: Carries the same ¼” tailgate detection past the lobby to access-controlled interior doors: office doors, sliding glass doors, or stand-mounted in front of high-security cages. Direction-violation alerts, occupancy monitoring, and single-cable PoE installation.
