ISC West is Quickly Approaching
March is here which means ISC West, the largest security event globally is quickly approaching. With nearly 600 exhibitors this year, the number of live demonstrations and networking opportunities are endless. An event chock-full with like-minded security innovators is bound to present breakthrough technology as we balance on the cusp of a new era of security- the smart building. Smarter Security has been an exhibitor at ISC West for more than 25 years. With this tenure in attendance, we feel qualified to act as your tradeshow guide in providing some tips and tricks for when you hit the road to visit the show in Las Vegas on March 22-25th at the Venetian Expo.

Market Leaders Reception: At SIA Market Leaders Reception, you will mix with other industry leaders for an evening of top-tier networking, industry celebration, complimentary drinks, and hors d’oeuvres. The Market Leaders Reception is a free event.
FAST Golf Classic Tournament: The FAST Golf Classic tournament (formerly the AIREF Golf Classic) is an annual golf outing that allows industry professionals to network and golf without guilt — as they support vital industry initiatives. Funds raised through the tournament will be funneled into initiatives that support workforce development efforts to attract more qualified talent to our growing and evolving industry. Sr. Sales Director, Steven Naltsas will be participating in the tournament.
New Products & Solutions Awards Ceremony: New products and solutions are reviewed by a panel of judges with extensive industry experience, and entrants compete for awards in 36 categories, as well as the prestigious Best New Product and Judges’ Choice awards. The ReconaSense platform has reviewed several SIA New Product Showcase Awards in previous years for its unified security management software.
Women in Security Forum Networking Breakfast: Connect with other leaders and champions for diversity and then help us recognize and celebrate the 2022 honorees of the SIA Women in Security Forum Power 100 program. In the inaugural Power 100 of 2022, Smarter Security’s very own Danielle Ebner has been named. After breakfast, stay for our Women in Security Forum keynote with guest speaker Jenny Radcliffe.
SIA RISE Happy Hour: Join SIA’s RISE community for young security professionals for a lively happy hour outing at Topgolf with tomorrow’s industry leaders. Swing some golf clubs and enjoy cocktails and networking with other young security professionals and those new to the industry.
Schedule Meetings Ahead of Time & Come with Questions
If you’re anything like us, we know you’re busy. Phones buzzing, inboxes growing, and calendars begin to fill up. Make sure to schedule any last-minute meetings you haven’t confirmed or forgot to book before it’s too late! Prescheduled meetings give you the opportunity to dictate your schedule and enables you to speak with the right person versus the first person who becomes available. For instance, we will have all our sales teams on hand so if your project is located in a particular region you can schedule a meeting with your regional sales associate.
Health & Safety
Both Smarter Security and SIA take the health and safety of attendees seriously. In preparation for ISC West, make sure you comply with local and ISC West health requirements here. To attend, you are required to verify full vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test from the last 24 hours. Anyone who is not up to date on vaccinations is strongly encouraged to wear a face covering and all attendees are asked to participate in daily health monitoring.
ISC West has worked closely with The Venetian Convention and Expo Center to implement cleaning and sanitization standards that meet or exceed the recommendations of the CDC, including increased sanitization and hygiene efforts. The Venetian Clean Commitment can be found here.
