Genzyme (Sanofi Co.) Uses Door Detective in Many Office Buildings
Genzyme, a Sanofi Company, has been a Fastlane turnstile customer for 10 years. In recent years, as the biotech company grew and began having more office space in multi-tenant buildings, it recognized the need to better secure its access-controlled entrances to protect its operations and intellectual property.
Genzyme recently ordered several Door Detective CL units to install at a large, multi-use facility housing offices and R&D labs. Across five buildings now, the company uses all three models of Door Detective to stop tailgating and piggybacking. Integrated with CCTV cameras, Door Detective allows security officers to respond to intrusions quickly and appropriately.

Fastlane Plus Makes the Movies this Summer
Summer is a good time for good movies and right now you can find Fastlane Plus on the big screen in “The East,” a new thriller starring Brit Marling and Ellen Page. In the movie, an elite private security investigator infiltrates an eco-terrorist group that wages campaigns against large corporations.
Fastlane Plus 400MA appears in a lobby scene of a building where two lanes secure the entrance from intruders and allow passage using Near Field Communication and smartphones. Fastlane Plus plays the role nicely fitting the modern aesthetics of the building and protecting the entrance using the latest technology.
Configuration Diagrams Simplify Purchase Process
We are rolling out new configuration drawings that customers may see accompany Fastlane turnstile quotes beginning this month. Integrators can use these drawings to clarify the placement of the transmit pedestal and any ADA lanes and to better identify line items on our quotes as the part numbers will be the same across documents.
Smarter Security introduces this additional service at no charge in order to streamline communications and to simplify the purchase process for our integrator customers. Look for these drawings to be with quotes for barrier turnstiles soon and feel free to ask your sales rep if you don’t see one.
